This new campaign website contains the previously unpublished affidavit of former RUC officer John Oliver Weir. In his statement Weir gives hitherto undisclosed details on how British forces targetted the nationalist community during his 10 years as an RUC officer. The statement contains details of shootings, bombings and the murder of nationalist civilians by serving officers.
The publication of the Weir affidavit on the internet is the first time such detailed information on collusion between regular British forces and pro-British paramilitaries has ever reached the public domain. It will shock you. We hope it will also inspire you to support the campaign for an international inquiry into this collusion.
