PFC/Urgent Email Action Alert

Please forward the enclosed photograph of murdered Belfast teenager Peter McBride through to the email addresses below with the following message;

The Chief of the General Staff of the British Army, General Mike Jackson, has stated that any soldier who subjects Iraqi prisoners to ill-treatment or torture “is not fit to wear the Queens uniform.” General Jackson also sat on the Army Board that ruled that the murderers of an Irish citizen, Peter McBride, were fit to wear the Queen’s uniform and could remain in the British Army. In so doing he has condoned the most serious crime of all-that of murder. No immunity for human rights abusers. Dismiss Guardsmen Wright and Fisher from the British Army! Resend emails as often as possible.

Peter McBride-murdered by Guardsmen Wright and Fisher on September 4 1992. His murderers remain serving soldiers as a result of an Army Board ruling. The Army Board included General Mike Jackson and John Spellar MP. Both believe that the murder of an Irish citizen is an 'exceptional' matter which should not result in dismissal.
